You Can't Go Home Again

Back in May I was asked (at the last minute) to come onto the local tv show I used to co-host for several years, Reasonable Doubt. I guess a more interesting or better looking guest wasn't available. The results, for whatever they're worth, were recently posted online
here. Compared to the civil war general and Bee Gees looks of my colleagues, I appear fairly normal.
A piece of advice for young lawyers - having a shtick is not the same thing as having a good reputation. You may have both, but only the rare few, like these two lawyers, actually do. A good reputation is harder to earn, easier to lose, and once lost, almost never returns. A shtick, once established, will follow you to Judgment Day.
